Friday's New Toy
Westside Story: Yesterday pour, today the pop and tomorrow a lift.
A closer look at the core and introducing our new toy ELLIOT. A small crane was added midweek just north of the blue concrete pumping machine. I don't know what Elliot will be doing yet, but I'm sure he'll be a valuable member of the core team. In this shot, you may also see they have popped the forms after yesterdays concrete pour.
A jump-jack was added to both Crane#1 and Cran#2 earlier in the week.

Eastside Story: Still making slow progress on the Ground Level 01 of the bus depot, most of the forming work has been dedicated to the north crash wall.

The dump truck on the Gardiner next to the Budget truck is a casualty of the stitching process.
You have done an excellent job stitching the photos without leaving ugly artifacts!

I enjoy it alot (and not just because of the stitched photos) but there is something about the army of dump trucks in The Well thread that nudges that one in first place for me.

Time for a Crane Lift. So Crane#1 has one section inserted just under the operator cab and feeling that the operator might need some extra support, a triangular support structure was attached to the building to keep it from wobbling. I'm sure Crane#2 will be treated the same in the near future.
