I couldn't get a good picture of it but there was a few trucks of large beams delivered today. Looks like the beams to support the structure over the park. Some welding going on today as well

Today you can see the steel beams that support the building over the rail corridor put into place. Based off the photos from yesterday they are moving fair quickly on them. You can learn about how they work in this video 1:14:30 inView attachment 439688View attachment 439689
Wow - this video is completely fascinating, thank you for sharing. Would love to see similar in depth breakdowns for the structural challenges of similarly scaled buildings!
 
So the tower will rise over the two arms of the "Y" seen above and the sky park will extend only to the Y's junction?
 
Weirdly, more of a problem in the winter months as the midday sun, when it's out, is lower on the horizon...
 
I just realized from the renders how much the 2nd tower is going to balance on the elevator core without really any other support columns, outside the ones funneling the weight into the core. That's a little scary come to think about it.
