Silly superstitions strike again! :p
That’s weird. Most buildings under construction do NOT skip floor numbers on their construction elevators. Even when they later do on their permanent elevators. Also, as far as I know most OFFICE buildings in Toronto don’t skip floor numbers even when they’re done and occupied.

Condos on the other hand skip floor numbers all the time. I can't tell you how many I've been in where the number thirteen or any number with a four are skipped.
