Westside Story:
Some panels were removed from the top section of the core and stored down on level 02 of the bus depot. The north section of the core is rising at the time this was posted. The pour happened last Saturday. It has taken 6 days for the core to begin rising. Usually, they raise the platforms the day after the pour. Also, the pour was only about 10 or 11 hours instead of the normal 14 to 15 hours
A closer look shows the inside of the forms that have yet to be removed in this southern section of the core. It will be interesting to see what this looks like once they've re-adjusted the top platform
Eastside Story:
You may notice the yellow and blue forms that came from the top of the core a few days, ago resting on the deck of level 02. You may also notice that the concrete pumpers on either side of the crane#3 have had extensions added to increase their height. Other work is happening along the east wall next to 18 Yonge St. and the north wall at trackside as well as the addition of a few more concrete columns,

Westside Story:
Short week but lots of activity within the core and installation of the corrugated metal decking, distinguishing the floors, one from the other.
A closer look at the top of the core, reveals deconstruction of the formwork to reduce the north/south footprint of the core
Another view of the corrugated metal deck being installed, and spot welded, to the supporting steel beams
A lot of the deconstructed formwork from the reduced core has been stored on the floor, of level 02 of the bus terminal. It's being stacked in multiple piles and you may notice, the blue coloured, steel superstructure of what was the work area on the top of this section on the core.

A closer, and unfortunately darker photo, showing the rebar work in progress along the 18 Yonge St west facing wall and some more detail of the two up/down ramps for the bus depot
