Apparently, whoever designed CIBC Square must be a huge fan of The Legend of Zelda.

The podium and ground level is finishing up. Coming soon some steel and a new bridge over Yonge.
Can I put a PATH sign up on our building at 25 The Esplanade just like Sugar Wharf did? Okay we are 50m and 1+ years away from the PATH. What are they 500m and 5+ years away from the PATH?

From the skywalk. Is it still called skywalk or is it Rogers Walk or Rogers Centre Way or The Way to Rogers Centre (& MTCC)

until (God forbid) the Dominion building redevelopment ruins the view. :(
I went back to the 1 Front thread and never noticed they have renders from this view showing exactly how it will block CIBC Square:

I don’t like it either, and I know we can’t stop building things because of the views they ruin. That being said, there are far more iconic views of a certain tower in the city that have been ruined by the likes of CIBC Square and 160 Front, but at least those are nice towers. They were designed to stand out whereas these towers really aren’t designed in any way that meaningfully considers the architecture of the buildings around them. This view shows that pretty well. It looks like a shittier Royal Bank Plaza but it's right next to Royal Bank Plaza.
