I feel like an actual massing model integrated into a site model would be way more informative than a rendering of the massing with some people pasted into it in Photoshop. Is there any PDF document or information from the meeting?
Joe Cressy is working on getting the slides from the meeting posted on his website.

They're planning two elementary schools but no high school?

I know a bunch of people with kids who live in condos downtown. Many are fine living there while their kids are young and in elementary school. But find they need more space once their kids get older. Which means moving out of areas like this.

I've heard that too. Surely some will end up staying with high-school-aged kids, but CT and Harbord can probably handle it

Before it is too late, consider adding another floor to accommodate the school enrollment increases. This part of the city is booming, and if the rail park gets built, many more families with young kids will want to live in this catchment area. It will be a lot cheaper to add the extra floor now than deal with it later, and the extra space can be rented out until it is needed to cover extra costs.

That would be a waste to speculate on future enrollment with their tight budgets. I don't see a park making a difference as long as we continue to building small one bedrooms with demising walls that can't be removed.
