I hear you! The buildings look decent from afar, but they are amazing up close and, in particular, standing underneath and moving around them while looking up. It's neck breaking, but worth taking the shots. I find the exact same comments goes for another downtown east condo: Market Wharf. People could easily dismiss them.
 
Lots of workers were on the crane yesterday, starting the process of dismantling it. As far as I can see, the crane is no longer functional for any lifting purpose.

There is a huge mobile crane sitting on Cherry Street getting prepared to lift it down - maybe tomorrow?
 
so exciting to see a new urban neighbourhood created from scratch. Corktown common is an amazing place to watch everything, so check it out before it closes again this fall.
