A different way of looking at Toronto's streets. These images were shot with a 520mm lens. The lens equivalent of the human eye is 50mm.

MAGNIFICENT! Telephoto shots are my favorites.

Nice work! I love the feeling of sheer human chaos in a lot of these shots-- Queen West from Beverly especially.

I like these photos.

Does your lens also make all the people look short and stocky, or is that caused by another factor?

Android: As promised I will comment on these very interesting pics of Toronto in a condensed manner:

John/Wellington: Interesting buildings in background-what are they?
Avenue Road/Bloor: Interesting old building spire in background...
Avenue Rd/Balmoral-Ontario Parliament in background...
Bloor East at Dundas-The dip in the road under the RR underpass looks interesting...
Queen West at Beverley-quite a congested street scene..
Dundas/Beverley-A bit more open and the overhead wires look interesting...
College/Spadina-the TTC 506 streetcar looks neat here...
Queen West at City Hall-Nice view with the streetcar line...
Dundas/University-Back of CLRV 4059 on the 505 route looks interesting along with the lightpoles and wires...
Exhibition Grounds E near Fort York-Those lightpoles actually "frame" that gateway quite nicely... Ex E towards Downtown-Quite a contrast in these buildings...
Front E from Spadina-I like the old Toronto light brackets in this pic...
Isabella/Yonge-That vehicle is well-preserved from either the late 40s/early 50s era...
Polson/DT-The contrast with the Laker ship looks interesting...
Yonge and Charles looking south-A neat view of Yonge Street here-Attention: The Listener is watching...YOU!

Thanks Mike. The building in the background of the John/Wellington shot is the new south facade of the Art Gallery of Ontario by Frank Gehry.
