"Beating a dead horse...for the last time?": since materials will make or break this (compromise), wonderin' why there's not a definitive rendering for the project. A visit to the database render slideshow features a first shot with horizontal balcony-type lines terrifyingly redolent of Aura. The second shot shows strong vertical lines with a notch.

I'm sure UT will explain. Or maybe KPF.

A bunch of docs were resubmitted in August.

I do really like this park idea, it's not bad at all. But my real question is why Ryerson keeps trying to push the development of O'Keefe lane. This is a loading alley as far as I know of, correct? There isnt going to be much pedestrian traffic through here at all

The City wants improved lanes generally. They're hoping to foster a little Melbourne action specifically south of Dundas Square on this lane, why wouldn't you bring it up to spec when a giant development was going up along one side of it. The people driving in and out of YSL's garage are going to want something decent.

Im not against the idea at all, I love the concept of increasing the desirability of our laneways, but in order to do something like that, there has to be a reason to pass through there, or at least have a destination. The reason the laneways in Melbourne succeed is because there are cafe's and stores in those areas
