Now that the build has gone past the heritage facade, I hope they'll start dismantling the exterior supporting structure soon and give the sidewalk back to pedestrians.

why the reinforced concrete looks so thin as a 90level tall tower. here is the photo to compared with ( 1 bloor west)

The One is built with the open floor plan design principle for the main level with all the load from the building being transferred to the 8 super-columns. This made the super-columns extremely thick.
Concord Sky does not have this issue and can hence spread the load across many more columns resulting in thinner individual columns.

Caught UrbanToronto's youtube channel saying the height is 300.3m and not 299m as shown on the website
