The massing/height for the office component is like this big amorphous blob - some more significant variation in the height of the towers would alleviate that.

according to the massing at least 11 out of 18 buildings will be taller than 150m+. thats a lot of height. i like that!

It's a pretty hideous and disjointed complex of buildings with environmental contamination and no obvious adaptive reuse. Probably one of those things we can thank and then Marie Kondo out of our lives.
Having been in it a couple times, and not having been particularly charmed by it, I imagine that when First Gulf owned the lands they found there was little to no interest in leasing space in it… so 1) they rethought their commitment to redeveloping the site and vended it, and 2) CadFair has taken the lesson.

I did quite like KPMB's proposal for the new build on top of the soap factory. Hopefully whatever ends up here is equally good, architecturally speaking (narrowing eyes at you, CF).
