Take a look at the quality of the concrete between these ghastly purple balconies. I was walking past today and it is VERY shoddy work. If it will be covered by more 'siding' (will it be??) I suppose it's OK but it is very low-quality.

Felt the same way when I was walking by last week.

The lower half of this building is particularly bad, but fortunately there is plenty of development potential all around that could eventually hide it from view.

If this is so they do not appear to have a building permit!
Was talking to the owner of the excavation company while I was shooting the west side who were doing a site visit and they were getting ready to start working

I can't remember seeing such a confused jumble of a material palette as in this project. There's like 5 different types of brick, laid and precast, copper tones, straight-up bold red vertical elements, transparent magenta and purple panels, aluminum panel system, standing seam panels, the list goes on. It's like the designer got bored and tried to design 5 different projects along the way.

The "brick" on the Parliament Street side looks worse than brick veneer on the Shoppers Drug Mart up the street. Truly atrocious in person.
