No they didn't. They explicitly said that substantial completion will happen quicker than line 6 because they already finished all their operator training. People in this forum love making up things to act like the sky is falling. We are weeks away from this thing opening and no one is willing to just accept good news.
Oh?

"As for when it will open to TTC riders, he said Metrolinx will continue working with the TTC “to think about ramp up of passenger service” and the first day of service, adding there are discussions about things like final training. A current projected timeframe for opening wasn’t disclosed."

Kinda over Matlow's photo ops for his extended run for mayor and we're still almost a full year away from the election.
What photo ops, there isn’t even a photo of him in his post or even the article lol. All I see him post is critiques of the province and their handling of Line 5, stuff about the TTC where he’s on the board, and being out and about in his community. Comes off as a social media engaged left-leaning councillor.

Stark contrast to Brad Bradford who’s nearly made his entire identity about constantly complaining that Toronto is going in the wrong direction and has cozied up to those who crusade against Chow.

Not a political thread and I don't keep up with municipal politics to have a horse in the race - but he literally held a news conference with the union. 10000% a photo op to show "he's fighting for transparency for the people of Toronto".

The problem is Bradford is pretty far right-wing. He played his own constitutents by pretending to be progressive, but since his final ward election, has gotten pretty nasty - and now joins Holyday in many of the old 25-1 anti-urban votes.

You are the one who got into politics!

Especially when it's lit up, I wonder if they should have dropped Line 5 at Cedarvale more clearly. Which the seems to have done between Ionview and Kennedy.
