Glad they got rid of "& Eglinton"
I'm glad they listened to at least one of our suggestions. Now if they could just get rid of their 'unique name only" rule, we'd be set.

They should abolish the VP and Pharmacy stops and put one in the middle and call it Eglinton Town Centre. It would also make for one less stop.
I wonder if I will have to start referring to my area as Leaside now...I wish Metrolinx would listen to their customers. People clearly don't like the naming convention.

That's probably why the Yonge and BD lines are so underused ...One woman was very vocal against the fact that its half underground citing fears of being trapped in an emergency and claustrophobia....
Their customers wouldn't care what the stations are called once it is open.

Guaranteed I will still hate Black Creek Pioneer Village Station
It's just called Pioneer Village station. Which when you think about it, isn't in itself a bad description of the northern part of York campus where it is located ... :troll:Guaranteed I will still hate Black Creek Pioneer Village Station
What the heck is a wexford!? It is an interesting name though
So CBC reported on the radio today about the first of 4 working sessions between Metrolinx and the accessible community on this project.

First of all....classic example of one of the main causes for these projects being stretched for years over what it should take and second....isnt it
a little late to be discussing about this....???![]()
