The Finch West terminal at Humber College Blvd. will be in a trench.

So the Finch LRT will go underneath the HWY 27 intersection I gather? And I wonder if Humber College will move their bus terminal into that parking lot on the corner, they just built a new terminal last year but it's not very close to the planned LRT.

I've also wondered about this. Related to an EA, perhaps extending Leslie south and connecting it to Bayview (this has been discussed in the past) or how to manage the existing entrance/exit to Celestica that exits on the south side of Eglinton have impact.

They could have shifted the right-of-way to the south side of Eglinton, AT GRADE, to have the Sunnybrook Park stop AT GRADE, but on the south side. Wouldn't interfere with the single-occupants in their horseless carriages making left turns onto and out-of Leslie Street.

I've lived in one of the neighbourhoods the station is named after and I still haven't heard that named referenced, other than in Metrolinx publications.

Eglinton & Bathurst used to be inside the frontiers the Village of Forest Hill, until 1967, when it was joined with the City of Toronto.

The lack of name recognition is further complicated by the fact that you have stations like Forest Hill that's not actually in the heart of Forest Hill. Or Leaside station which will only sit on the boundary between Leaside and a different neighbourhood.

Same goes with Pioneer Village Station which is a kilometre walk from the actual site.

Honestly. I have no problem with either of those two. I get where they are exactly. Forest Hill also. Cedarvale I never heard of in my life and I am Toronto born and bred.

I know all of the neighbourhoods and station locations, but the same cannot be said for the vast majority of people. That's what I'm concerned about.
