Commodore Plaza in Coconut Grove, Miami, had a very Yorkville vibe for me, up to and including the POMO crap that somehow manages to look charming through the addition of patios, umbrellas and awnings. They also have a super tacky Canadian Moose - themed bar there for reasons unknown to me.

The Landing Strip in Parkdale strongly reminds me of the Bucharest neighbourhood I grew up in, while St. Jamestown could be at home in any number of ex-communist countries.

Driving on the 401 from West to East on a summer day has always reminded me of LA.
 
Astoria, Queens and the Danforth is a good one.

Queens NY reminds me quite a bit of Toronto. Both built up largely around the same time and housing stock is a similar mix of SFHs and big apartments. Rather similar ethnic composition too.
 
Toronto's Dufferin Gate predates St. Louis's famous Gateway Arch.

The Brandenburg Gate looks similar to the Princes' Gates to the unexperienced tourist.

The Cinesphere predates EPCOT.
