Agreed about the stellar street presence. The northern most section transitions well towards the neighbouring Edwardian block. While the corner piece looks like a clean modern adaption of the Thomson Building (at Queen & Bay) motif.

thinking about it, my bet is that it's because of the helicopter flight path, which the crane can't exceed. It is a bit odd however considering 88 Queen kept its crane right until topping out.

Very good question! I've been wondering that too. But is it worth installing another crane when they only have a few floors to go?

I am definitely liking that podium datum line that visually connects the old rowhouses together.

I wonder- is the angled setback an intentional concession to reduce late early-day shading on St. Michael's Cathedral?
