So I emailed FlyOver, it see what is going on with this project and they replied back:

Hi Branden,

Thank you for contacting Flyover.

We’re currently still in the permitting phase with our Flyover in Toronto project and don’t have an expected construction date at this point.

Keep an eye on our website www.experienceflyover.com for the latest updates.

Our Flyover in Chicago experience opens March 1st at Navy Pier Chicago.

Thank you,

This city is a joke. This project was first announced in 2019, and in 2024 they are still in the permitting phase. People got upset at me for bashing the permit process in Toronto, and now you are starting to see why we are in a housing crisis. It takes forever for things to get done, and we are driving businesses away from our city.

Stop Trolling!

Nothing has changed since you last posted outlandish accusations with zero evidence.

Do not put forward your uninformed opinions as facts, they are not.

I am not trolling. Don't you find it odd, that a company is still in the permit phase after being announced 5 years ago? That is the issue here.

No, because the company has not replied to a notice it was sent in 2022 according to the records; and does not appear to have paid for permits that are awaiting issue.

The City staff reviewing the permits largely closed out the process years ago. This appears to be on the company in question. If it is not, they can identify the issue publicly.

The Mechanical and Plumbing permits both look similar in status:

As you can see the City closed everything out back in April '21

Drain and Site service is similarly cleared.

The only permit not ready for issuance is the 'New Building' permit:

This one was originally closed out Feb' 21.

Whatever the issue that merited notice in '22, there is not evidence of a response.

Here's my proposal to you. Instead of complaining when you don't have facts, why don't you phone Mr. Drover, listed above, and ask for an update:

Pro Tip: A support contact making a standard response to an impatient inquiry on a tourist attraction =/= a housing crises.

FlyOver is ready to go. On their website it says their opening this project in 2025. That would mean they would have to start soon, to meet that deadline.

Read up.

What you repeat verbatim w/o inquiry or challenge is not evidence. It's barely conjecture.

I've gone out of my way to give you the tools to get the answer you apparently seek. If you're not trolling, stop being lazy. I've done all the leg work you should have.
