An application has been submitted for a 20-storey, 390 unit condo with 226sqm of groundfloor commercial space at 9076, 9090, 9104-9106 Yonge Street and 8 Edgar Ave.
The Town of Richmond Hill has received revised OPA & zb/l applications and a site plan application from Guizzetti Developments to permit two 15-storey mixed-use towers at 9076, 9090, 9104 and 9106 Yonge Street and 8 Edgar Ave (south of 16th Avenue) containing 185-residential units, 6,723-sq.m. of commercial and office space and a three-storey podium connecting the two towers.
Is this going to be another fenced off garden along Yonge? Do we really need more of this outdated style frontage?
Apologies if I misinterpreted the site plan.
Not sure if too many folks would be enthused about buying a condo fronting right onto Yonge without a landscape buffer.
A subway is not a prerequisite for decent site planning.Density is the right thing for the area but until the subway arrives it ain't going to look like more mature locations in the city.
Anyone familiar with this developer - Guizzetti Developments?
