Sleek but bleak. Two Studio JCI-designed projects going up on the same stretch of Yonge at the same time by the same developer. I think the other one's beautiful.

This base feels like a time warp to the 70's and 80's glass protrusion designs. Sorry, but I'd rather leave my striped Corvette, cocaine and leather suit back in Vice City where they belong. Yuck.

I think this is handsome infill with quality material and appropriate treatment at ground level. You want a hot mess, go see the MEC development on Queen West.

Night time view gives a better idea of what's going on inside. Shoppers is either open or close to opening. Don't like the exposed ceilings here. Very prominent from the street.
