They could argue, they were just reconstructing an existing TTC entrance on east side.

If you're familiar with TTC south entrance at Poyntz, you'd know that long stairway and escalator doesn't leave any room from centre platform system for a vertical elevator unless the put in a really long hallway on automatic collector booth level.

Sheppard-Yonge station is already handicap accessible,.... just that all those facilities are at the north end of the station. Hullmark Centre north tower's TTC entrance "should" also be handicap accessible to Eastbound Sheppard platform where it joins but then again this is the entrance that they had difficulty designing over the subway turning tunnel and while it was supposed to be accessible,.... we'll see,...

April 6: Lot more up on site
There will be an accessibility access to the south side of the Sheppard Line to the Hullmark Centre and is block off until the main entrance to tower 2 is ready sometime this year.

As for the south, typically TTC design and thinking that accessibility access be not allow at unman entrance/exit as well never thought of when the line was built. After 2025, They will have to start dealing with entrances/exit as they must do now for stations that don't have access today.

3 flights of stairs to climb to street level and the doors were not working.

They are forming the mechanical area and then the roof.

Signage looks great! ^ still a shame about the LED screens being scrapped, (although I don't know if that ever was a realistic possibility).

It's odd that the Whole Foods signage is up so early, considering Fall 2014 is still several months away. I'm sure there will be a few people being mislead to think that it's already open.

Anyway, 2 quick snaps from today. Hullmarks ugly (spandrel) clad-side, but at the same time, the angle where it looks the skinniest.
(it's also nice seeing Emerald Park popping up behind Hullmark South)

Is 'Hullmark' bolded and 'Centre' italicized? It might just be the perspective or might just be my eyes.

'Centre' isn't in italics, but it is narrower than 'Hullmark'. I was driving past it with a graphic designer and he wasn't a fan of the choice.

oh right! for a second I thought italics was the opposite of bold for some reason.

Ya it does look a bit strange, especially because they're on the same line. A small complaint though about an otherwise fantastic looking project.

From 4th floor of Sunnybrook Hospital. Making a big impact on the skyline, along with Emerald Park. Sorry for crappy phone cam pic.
