A little further? Damn near doubles it!^ realize it would have come with an extra cost, but it's too bad they couldn't have kept the elevated portion going a little further to avoid this intersection in the south and same for a north.
Impossible due to height different. There is a slope starting north of the Rathburn overpass and it is about 5-10 feet above grade at the south south of Rathburn. That is not high enough to give 15 feet clearnce going over Hurontario and Sq One Drive to allow trucks under it. You need to start the slope to grade at Sq One Dr that will require to tear out the Robert Speck Station and build a new one on the south side of the intersection as well change the left turn lanes on both side of the intersection.^ realize it would have come with an extra cost, but it's too bad they couldn't have kept the elevated portion going a little further to avoid this intersection in the south and same for a north. Unless it would be too close to stations for the grade the LRVs can handle.

It’s too bad they couldn’t have kept the elevated portion going a little further, like 10km to the north and 8km to the south to avoid some more intersections.^ realize it would have come with an extra cost, but it's too bad they couldn't have kept the elevated portion going a little further to avoid this intersection in the south and same for a north. There isn't a section from the 403 to the south side of Fairview that has enough room to put in a ramp. It’s too bad they couldn’t have kept the elevated portion going a little further, like 10km to the north and 8km to the south to avoid some more intersections.
I did but deemed it not far along enough worthy of a picture. From my bedroom I noticed but from far away it looks like they've done more than they have up close.November 02
@Dan416 have you looked at the guideway between Central Pkwy and Burnhamthprpe lately??
I saw it today on the 103 from John St and it took me by surprised as rail laying in the guideway from CP to Elm. Ties been installed betweem Elm and Matthew Gates with steel mats sitting between Matthew Gates and Burnhamthrope.
A lot of changes in the last week to the last month from John St to Steeles and will post more in a 3 part posting later.
Major paving taking place tonight for the Hwy 407 eastbound, westbound off and on ramp with bpth the eastbound and westbound off ramps close today as crews were working on them. There is paving plan for the southbound lane where light poles have been relocated in Brampton..
Working on the photos now.
