FYI. First building is demolished and they are working on the second building now. Unfortunately, I couldn't take pictures because I was driving

They're driving piles around the property before they start digging the pit.

Shoring (the current stage) takes several weeks to a few months. This stage is necessary before excavation begins. They are currently forming below-grade walls that will be revealed as excavation gets going. Once those drilling rigs have gone all the way around the edge of the site, you should see digging begin.
