Why they didn’t build crappy concrete bridges is cause Toronto is deserving of having some nicer things the odd time. Slow at doing so... but it’s getting there.
Kinda sad that the bridges being proposed for the Ontario Line are mostly unremarkable concrete structures. In general Toronto cheaps out on its bridges.
 
I have been back and forth since 0900 this morning from our condo in the Distillery District shooting pics of the new bridge, and will continue to do so tonight and throughout tomorrow, mostly from our balcony during the bridge's installation. Lot's more photos to come !

I guess there a another twin bridge for this this section of the road. Because it doesn't look wide enough.
That is the LRT bridge with a pedestrian walkway that will be join by a heavier bridge for traffic next year. If you look a the piers, you will see 2 of different width.

Don't look for any streetcars going over that bridge until 2030-40
