And the construction schedule:

What caught my eye was this rendering of the Cherry Street North Connection at the underpass. Is the reflective portion at the bottom of the station a big of fun? Also is that a little more public art over the Gardiner at the top? But most alarming was the estimated cost at $337m! Ouch! Maybe they could put a café in the station to defray some of the cost.

In one of the pictures it almost shows it but I assume the rebuild doesn't include the span for the rail spur? Looks like it remains seperate from the new bridge. View attachment 522765

That's the southern (Eastbound) bridge, which is just finishing up. The rail spur is to the north of the north bridge, which will be worked on next.

The spur is being removed overall, but whether the existing bridge is retained for cycling/pedestrian purposes, or removed, I'm not sure.

Looking at this future development map from the presentation, I guess as romantic as the whole project has seemed so far, we should be under no illusion that the City is building High Park Part II or Brickworks Part II, this will be CityPlace Part II or Liberty Village Part II with some nice bridges and river running through it.

Correct, it might not be the next High Park, but the parkland and waterfront access will make for significantly better recreation spaces than LV or CityPlace.

They'll be dismantling the little stubs from the old ramp, right? Not like they're leaving them in place for a replacement... right?

I'm assuming it will be less like Cityplace and Liberty Village and more like East Bayfront and the West Donlands because those are similar Waterfront Toronto projects. So, a more thoughtful public realm, but the same issue with hit-or-miss condo developments.
