Folks need to remember while there are terrible buildings go up, there are also some great ones going up too...so not everything gets "Torontofied". And this project is very demonstrative on that fact, IMO.

Unfortunately didn't get any good shots of that new precast... but did spot some windows going in on the podium of the west building.

Tough to get decent shots zipping by on a jiggly train with inclement weather…windows on south face of east tower looking great. And I noticed earlier this afternoon they’ve installed the second tier of curved white frames on the north side of west tower. Looked very sharp….

To the individuals who like (or at least state that we should put up with it) the trash that is 375 King and Peter & Adelaide, this project is decent architecture.

There does not have to be any false choices involving "green glass buildings" or "every building doesn't have to be spectacular". You can have great design, attention to detail and decent materials and forms....and not have it excessively expensive or designed by a star architect. Decent design for condos like these buildings can be pulled off, should be the standard (as opposed to the exception) and should end all excuses for exceptionally poor design and execution like 375 King and Peter & Adelaide.

these are rental which changes the equation slightly. generally rental buildings are built to a higher standard because the developer will hold them after completion.
