Except for the ambulances need access to the emergency entrance on Shuter. They need to move that entrance somewhere else, and provide emergency parking for police as well, as they're always blocking the bike lanes on Shuter. Also, if this happened, when vehicles are leaving Eaton Centre's parking garage, a lot of them go down Shuter. If cars could only turn left or right onto Yonge, it would be hell leaving the garage.It would be nice to see this for Shuter Street between Yonge and Victoria. Close it off to traffic (or woonerf it) and add fountains and benches etc. It would provide an excellent space for people attending Massey Hall.
