No render has been released as of yet. The building housing the Sherwin Williams store will be demolished once the store vacates the premises.

The developers are requesting a zoning bylaw amendment and are looking to go as tall as 22 floors for one of the buildings, which would be located on the corner of Front and Bathurst.

That's a shame. I was really hoping the Sherwin Williams building would stay up :(

Damn. The Sherwin Wiliams building is really worth keeping - it embodies the character that made King West so interesting in the first place. It is a solid building with simple but beautiful brick detailing. If restored it could be put to great use like the heritage properties on King between Spadina and Brant.

I inquired today at the location. Sherwin Williams' lease ends Dec 31/11. They would like to relocate in the same area to service their clients. In the meantime, the rest of the buildings are coming down.

It's such a waste of a valuable, scarce commodity in this city.

It seems, in Toronto, that for each condo that goes up the City loses a piece of Fun :(
..at this rate, Toronto will be Hogtown once again!

They did realocate in the city ... not that close though, quite a bit to the west if I recall.

And we get new things too ... bolliwing alley ... ping pong studio ... not sure what that's called, anyone been there before ?
