Last is the new LCBO, second-last is (far as I could tell) a residential lobby.
Nice, it’s low key — do you know which building it is? I imagine at least one of the residential towers will be ready very soon — expected move in date for the affordable units was originally posted for early/mid May.
 
I was wondering if anyone can speculate what will happen with the ‘neon’ signage in the honest ed’s alleyway. It was a key element of the plan, but also the micro-retail component was supposed to be ever-evolving. How will that all be executed if the stores will be pop-ups?

LCBO is the second retail unit south from Bloor on Bathurst. It stops just short of where the driveway is, on the Bathurst facing.

The signage zones were defined in the architectural documents below. I'd say it mostly hinges of the city bylaw allowing for interesting signage (beyond backlit plastic), retailers being willing to spend a little extra to have their sign stand out, and if it is in the leasing contract. I do hope it works out and they stick to the vision, because it would be a cool space specifically for that reason, and we need more fun.

The LCBO looks smaller than I would have thought. I assumed this location would have demanded a larger footprint...

It is on the smaller side for new builds, but it's not tiny like say the Hudson's Bay Centre location.

I think it's about 4,500ft2 up top, (don't quote me on that).

But it also has basement storage, so what's up top is 90% retail space.

@mjl08 above is correct, now, that's less of an issue in the core; but there is still an issue. Restaurants who buy directly from retail, in particular, but also some of the Rosedale/Forest Hill set who may buy a new release from Vintages by the case, tend to want to load those in the trunk of a car; and that advantages stores that have free/cheap, ample parking over those that do not.
