I'm assuming there is a lane-way between this gorgeous mural and the new development so I think it at least deserves way-finding signage beside the side-walk, and a crossing-guard to stop vehicle deliveries during the pedestrian "viewing hour".

Pray no-one tags the mural once it's hidden.

There is no alley in the plans. If built as currently proposed, the mural will be hidden other than for a chunk of it which some north-facing hotel rooms on podium floors will face.

With a [rare these days] blue sky, you can see more of the roof removed. The concrete sections are taken down by crane and broken up on the north side of the lot.
