I'm not 100% sure but I can't imagine this is a miss. It must be intentional. The glass line doesn't always have to follow the slab (frame in this case)The corner edges couldn't have been cut flush with the angled corner? Ugh. That's a miss for sure..

I see that. But, question is if it will be a pedestrian path and if there are plans for it to cross under Strachan. From this picture it could just as well be a service/delivery vehicle lane. Big difference there.There is a path to the south but it terminates at Strachan.
