Great to see the undersides of the balconies are being painted. Makes a big difference.

One of my favourite buildings (the one the picture was taken from) in Toronto. Never been inside but assumed the views were great. And you have confirmed that.

55 St. Clair? Yeah despite the concrete I actually quite like its design. The inside was very recently renovated so it's all modern and stuff now.

Taller than Aura from St. Clair now. I wonder when (if?) it'll pass Four Seasons from this angle.

by me.

The Toronto skyline doesn't always look great, but when it does, such as in this photo, it looks phenomenal. What you get from the north end of the skyline real shows off the impact these new towers have made on the skyline only in the past little while. The view that news stations constantly show from the lake only tells half of the story.

And I have to agree, kotsy does an amazing job with his watermarks. They're done with much style and class. Kudos!

Given the upper floor ceiling heights plus penthouses, mechanical.... there's still 200ft in height left to go on this baby. You'll be surprised how big it looks once it's finished. That last 200ft is going to take this thing from big to enormous.

if that's the 62nd floor - then there's exactly 200' to go

Forms being moved.

It is poking above the treeline at Eglinton Ave now.

Funny how perspective works. At the vantage point from St. Clair in the previous page the CN Tower is well to the right of 1BE. In these pictures it is to the left of 1BE.

I remember my grandmother, who was born and lived her entire life in Toronto (just off Broadview, across from the Don jail to be exact), use to refer to anything north of Yonge and Bloor as "the country"!

I live at Yonge/College and I still refer to everything north of Bloor as the boonies :p #DowntownElite
