I was hoping the horrible Bay Centre was going to be renovated into something more pedestrian friendly and animated. That Royal Bank on the corner needs to go.

You could foster a guess at how big it is, but then again you might be feeling grim. But, you'll be feeling refreshed after your run around the blocks.

On a side note to this day, I actually like the top of the original 1 Bloor proposal (Bazis) with the sharp fins piercing into the sky. It looked (and still looks imo) unlike any other roofline in the city and went well with that form of building.

While I think that the Great Gulf version of One Bloor East is better than the Bazis version, I still like the Bazis version quite a lot. I would be happy to see that version go up somewhere in downtown Toronto.
