So cute, playing the listener instead of the bullsh*tter while dragging the fingernails across the chalkboard some more all the way past the election.

Somehow it's not enough that the chief planner (through first hand experience in the whole planning process) has already made the case that this is badly needed. Instead we need more consultation before he'll "consider it", after the new city budget has already been approved.

Funny how that need for consultation suddenly vanishes for his multi-billion dollar vanity projects. Bullshitter in Chief is at it again.

Anyways given the yearly cost increases in construction, it's probably fiscally prudent to spend more money to accelerate planning, in order to reduce overall construction costs. Nobody benefits from dragging this process out (well, maybe it benefits Tory's political ambitions)..

Vehicle neutral for the Relief Line (North and South) was a presentation at the TTC Board Meeting, but only suggested Subway and Underground LRT. No mention of GO trains or electrified commuter train though.

Anybody seriously think it will be built within 10 years?

I do. Or at least with construction well on the way to completion.

Especially if they get head starts with station boxes like at Broadview when the GO and streetcar station opens long before the DRL. and maybe other station boxes at interchange stations that already exist.
