I think 32-36 is where the bridge is located. The bottom layer is common area and I think there's several levels of condo units.

October 3 Pictures

Not much change lately, just a few more floors:

This little guy is one of the half-dozen or so cats living in the field by the Bathurst Street Bridge, from which many of the above photos are taken. Their homes are gradually being encroached upon as Cityplace marches west! They will have to be evicted when TCHC Block 32 and 36 are developed! Perhaps space can be found in Cityplace Park or the future Garrison Creek Park for them.

Thanks for these photos. Say what you will about CityPlace but this place screams density.

I don't know, Mr. Toad. It's dense, but not all density is created equal. It's perfectly possible to have a zillion people living in one spot, and still have nothing really going on as a neighborhood. We'll have to see how this comes together at the base.

There wasn't any values laden in the my comment. Rather, those photos illustrate the massive scale of the development. SNF is right that the devil is in the details and judgement should be held until we see how it all fits together. Personally, I am not optimistic but that's not the point. I guess another way of saying it would be: thanks for the photos drum11, they do a great job of showing the intensity of this development.

I would agree that Cityplace feels little like a neighbourhood but it does make for a pretty dense urban crossroads. Maybe it's just the central location and the access to public transit. I don't know, it's grown on me.

Concorde has worked very hard to make sure that the focus of excitement at street level is the new Sobeys. Otherwise, it's pretty snooze in that regard.

I got a letter from Concord Cityplace. They state my move in date has been shifted from February 28, 2010 to April 6, 2011.

I'm in the podium of Parade 1.

I'm kind of surprised. It seems like the building would be finished earlier than 1.5 years from now, judging from the pictures that are posted here.

When does the second tower portion of this project begin?
