just wanted to thank both CN and Mike in TO for their many outstanding pics of all the downtown projects...

Completely OT, drove by the Loggia condos in Etobicoke today, at Queensway & Islington...someone needs to get pictures of these, they are looking pretty good...I will try if time permits this weekend...

They have a neat lighting system though, little beams of light mounted on building.

I think the tower looks great from the east or west views, it's from the north or south that it looks goofy with that silly curvy top.

The townhouses worked out better than podium streetfront on Bay.

I think they're awful. I don't mind the Bay podium, even if it has a slight awkwardness to it. It's for sure more interesting than those townhouses, which aren't quaint, but aren't shnazzy looking either.

These towers are not as good as they could've been. The pictures above make the point very nicely.

Surely they're working on the penthouse/roof of the second tower now? From my western POV tower 2 looks less than 5 stories shorter than tower 1 (and if I recall correctly, the height difference was 5 floors.)
