I came across the development application last updated Aug 2016 which includes some good supporting documentation (sun/shadow study, greenspace, noise impact, etc.) on how this extension would really affect this woman. I don't think this is as dire as she makes it out to be.

The residence next door is tall, and the older apartment tower taller - this project is barely even a mid-rise and she is complaining about that?

Forget the children, would someone please think of the maple trees?

Welcome to living on a streetcar line. They screech going around corners. They can mitigate it to a certain extent, but not eliminate it. I live near a streetcar corner and when they get unbearable, people write in and they come and treat the tracks.

He tried getting waterboarded? I didn't know getting drowned is so pleasant. They really should have opened up the detention centre/black site in Corktown instead of Guantanamo. Look, there is a unit available for lease!

Having neighbours like these would surely prompt them to do the right thing and spill it all.

I'm sorry but that won't be satisfactory. The city clearly needs to eliminate this street car altogether, ban new buildings which might create shadows, and fine children who play too loudly in parks. [/sarcasm]
