Stunning photos, Jack!

I think that many of us are going to be tourists...in our own town. The $30 for adults may be a bit pricey, but I think it's worth it to escape reality for a few hours and live in another (underwater) world. The jellyfish are truly mesmerizing.

The photos of the sharks didn't turn out quite as amazing. Didn't bring a tripod and only the very well-lit displays ended up being super photogenic. Can't deprive this thread of sharks though - you all deserve it.

I like that there is a single point of light over the "Dangerous Lagoon" which mimics the sun. It creates the impression that the photos are of the ocean, not an aquarium.

When I passed by around two yesterday that lineup stretched around the building, back down the driveway, and along Bremner past the MTCC. I'd say the opening weekend has been a success, from the looks of it.
