with talk about that deck park recently, that stretch between the ACC and the Skydome could have been a great green space kinda like the millennium park in Chicago......Instead of all those condo's congesting the waterfront....It always amazes me that those in power have a hard on about killing the gardiner to have a magnificent lake front and then they put up all these horrid condos that block off any view of the lake far more than the gardiner.....

Block the view from where exactly? How far north do you go from the lake before you allow any buildings? Even one storey buildings block the views. As do trees for that matter.
