Thanks everyone!

And 3Dementia, if you ever want to use one of these shots for any of your outstanding rendering projects, I will happily provide full sized images, or even raw versions of the original unedited shots!

VERY tempting offer...thanks. Have to figure out how to pay the mortgage ;-) this month, but maybe in the future. It certainly occurred to me when I saw the shot (not to mention the photo gives a 100 hour head-start compared to most of my renders!). Thanks.

Here are a few pics of the skyline from a brunch cruise I took today. I recommend it for anyone interested in city views, and the lunch and music were not bad either. These photos are obviously not great quality, and lighting was a bit dreary (camera: Canon G15).

Anyone every think a pedestrian bridge could be built across the eastern gap? Or perhaps a connection between Tommy Tompson park peninsula and the port lands?

this is the flyover zone for the airport. For noise abatement, putting sound walls around the airport would probably do more than anything. Alternatively, perhaps the current island airport could be turned into a new neighbourhood, and a new island airport could be created off the southwest corner of the island, addressing the sound issues by distancing landings from the inner harbour, generating revenue from land development, and also keeping an accessible island airport. This is what came across my mind while coming through that part of the island (hanlans point?), because it seems to be much less used part of the island.

The view from Riverdale Park has to be my favourite. I sure wish I had time for a fall visit.

The views from Riverdale park are gorgeous, especially at sunset. I look forward to taking more shots with the changing colours in the fall.
