I think the switch was instigated by concerns over potential views out of the units. Bit of shame though, what could have been a very striking building is now much more anonymous.

Will it though?
 
Hm...I can't tell if this will truly be a great design....once more cladding is up then I will put forth some kind of opinion based on the materials and lines on the balcony glass. Those lines are certainly something else...hm.
the white lines are just packaging from shipping. they are already mostly removed. It's bubble wrap.
 
Update:
It has been roughly four months since we last covered the construction of Urban Capital and Malibu Investments' Smart House, a 25-storey architectsAlliance-designed "micro-condo" development on Queen Street, steps west of Osgoode Station. When we last checked in on the project at the end of March, forming of the project's four-storey podium had recently been completed, and work had started on the smaller tower floors above. In the time since, the tower's construction has progressed rapidly, with the 25th and final residential floor now being formed.
