This is an artist's rendering of the townhouses. As you can see there will be trees and plants accompanying them. Please note these townhouses aren't part of the Tridel's SQ condo. They are Toronto Community Housing townhouses.

This is the artist's rendering of Tridel's SQ. Notice the townhouses in the background. I imagine this building along with the townhouses (and eventually SQ2 on the other side of the street) won't make for a "monotonous" street.

Yep I'm really liking the colours. Sthg like this at Pan Am Village would've been amazing.

Picture captured by webcam on Tuesday, August 23rd. The view is the west side of SQ (which is the back of the building). The concrete has been completed on all 14 floors. Window installations have started on the 9th floor and work has been done on the SQuare balconies (look at the boxed balconies from floors 3-5).

Looks like the surrounding Toronto Community Townhouses are now completed. I've heard many tenants are living in them already. Does anyone know when SQ2, located across the street on the west side, will break ground?

August Construction Update

The construction team at SQ is currently installing windows on the 8th and 9th floors. Suite framing is on the 3rd floor, while framing for the common areas is currently in progress and expected to take 3 to 4 weeks to complete. Plumbing and electrical rough-in work has also started on the 2nd floor.
