The grey and orange are beautifully matched. Too often, the colour combinations in new construction in Toronto are timid and bland or downright ugly.
Maybe someone's coming to peel the protective paper coating off... we got them at Ikea right?that south facing glass is suuuuuuper fritted, almost appears frosted. was not expecting that.
At best I imagine there will be some sort of coffee/snacks shop on ground level as it IS a functional court building during the rest of the week.will there be any permanent vendors in the market hall area?
Actually it will be on the mezzanine, if I remember right. At best I imagine there will be some sort of coffee/snacks shop on ground level as it IS a functional court building during the rest of the week.
For once I'm not even mad at a potential cheapening, I am just so ecstatic to see bold colour. Especially in Old Town; there should be a moratorium on grey/black/monochrome buildings in this part of the city. Red brick and/or colourful finishes, please.Guess they went with the painted aluminum over terracotta (as expected).
