Hmmm, sounds reassuring, especially the financing part. It'll be an interesting couple of months for the Trump tower. I am not overly excited as of now, but shovels in the ground will certainly get the adrenaline flowing. :eek

^Even them, who knows...

It could be that Trump equals Stump (part 2).

Re: Four Seasons

Has the construction paperwork for Trump been filed?

So folks, here is an announcement today from CNW. Looks like the tower is a go as of mid year. I doubt that they would hire people to do this if there was nothing going up. One step closer and one less doubt for all the nay sayers. I look forward to seeing this go up cause it will prove many people wrong who have been doubting that it will ever happen.

Re: Four Seasons

if mid 2007 is true, the downtown core is going to look absolutely awful for a while, especially that bay-adelaide corner, with all the construction going on.
but what a sight it will be in just a few short years. un.real.

It makes me wonder how they're going to fit a crane on trump's area while bay-adelaide is right across the street pretty much.. lol.. as well if sapphire tower happens too in the next yr or two that's another crane a block away.

I look forward to the start on Trump :)

I can't help but think, that the Trump Tower would have already been half built if it were in a better location.

Seems like the latest of many publicity builders. I've never seen so many announcements for new companies coming on. What next, real gold handles on the toilets. Im sure that will be the next press release.

Re: Four Seasons

Maybe we'll get Stump II: Trump the Stump (or is it Stump the Trump?).

Re: Four Seasons

EllisDon was announced as the construction management firm a couple of years ago. I guess they got tired of waiting.

Well, whether you like the building or not, a 1000-footer is significant.
