thanks for posting!. this finally clears it up for me. The LED strip does indeed stop at around where the granite setback is, so it's nowhere near the top of the tower,
and from street level looking up, this is a tower of epic proportions. it just looks beast with all the setbacks and the granite setbacks.

and the parking dominating streetlevel is nothing you can really control. I mean, take a look at the site and how limited space is. You can't exactly hide it.

But me personally, walking by, I probably wouldn't notice the above ground parking at all unless i looked really closely.

What will shine is what's above ground and not at street level... the skylounge/restaurant along with the amenities are sure to please... It's all about going up here, a big city building... no time for podiums!

In terms of the lighting I think it goes all the way up they just haven't done it yet no ?

This tower looks better and better (although I am not a super-huge fan of it). I can't wait till the lower portions of the tower are 'cleaned-up' (along with the missing and mismatched glass panels for the windows). :)

All the sidewalk overhead protection and scaffolding is in the process of been removed.

Both sidewalks will be free of construction material on Sunday.

Looking at the photos I shot to day both from afar and close by, I see they have added a walkway on the dome to the spire. It shows up in M____J1 photo, but I have a better shot of it from afar not knowing of it at the time.

it's that spinal column thing right? will that be removed when construction is finished?

great pic showing the vibrancy of the spandrel accents. ^^^. the green (imo) looks cool under certain lighting... very shiny looking cladding from some angles... it's weird how the glass has it's good and bad days.. (the same can't be said for the granite. which looks lifeless most of the time)

Looks great coming in on the LSW Go Train.. It really is an iconic addition to the skyline from that angle.

Reading todays homepage about City Hall wanting to connect the path to Trump Tower... it's not life and death... is walking across the street from the Bay Adelaide Centre or Scotia Plaza really THAT far??!?! cmon people!

Taken today by my sister as she came back from NYC (edited by me of course ;) ),... WOW. cladding has progressed up the base of the dome!>.. gotta say, Trump Tower is BEAST from city hall... dominates even FCP (illusion wise).

There 70 photos now up on site.

It will be 4 more weeks until parts arrive from oversea for the new Nikon D7000, otherwise, would have better zoom and closer shots.

When I shot this from the CNE, had no idea I shot the catwalk.

When I shot this from Bathurst bridge, it was the first time I noticed something new was added to the dome.
