Eh, I guess that's where we differ. Especially here, where absent something like that, it's just a screen covering a multi level parking garage. The early concepts with the living wall, etc. were never going to happen...

Can't agree on everything - I am totally ok with a static facade in this context. Living wall would be nice, but I wasn't expecting it for this.

The Yonge street facade covering the parking garage is just awful!

Agreed, and it’s bad on the Alexander side, too.

Change of topic, but I remember somebody at one of the townhalls asking the developer what’s to stop you from combining the five retail spots into two and filling them with a Starbucks and a bank. The developer admitted that they would combine the spots if a retailer asked. Well the good news is that banks aren’t opening branches any longer so maybe we can hope for a couple of restaurants to make up for those that were lost.

I don't mind the parking garage facade - it also isn't done yet...? I'm more excited to see how they tie it all together and fill in the gaps. I'd rather have this than some false windows or exposed parking.

I hope the Brazilian snack bar that used to be on the site (on Maitland) would move back, but I don't think they can afford the rent.

Today.
