Imposing? Hmm, I don't get that feel from it at all in photos. I get a more fun and playful feel. Airy, and light.
 
The reflections of the glass are horrible, but the view is decent:

Both the fins and the spire/antenna will be included in the final product. I was told by someone who works on the project that the antenna will be a functioning radio mast but I don't know if I believe that.

It would be interesting if that were the case. It's a short building, and, as it happens, there's an extremely tall building that's very good at transmitting radio signals in the immediate vicinity.

But then, I don't know the physics of radio waves. Maybe they get amplified when they pass through good-looking architectural fins.
 
great pics! Telus is looking very frumpy compared to the 2 slim MLS towers. Hopefully the fins and the antenna may make a slight difference. Love the glass
 
Yeah, they shouldn't just go and mess with an attractive design like that.
 
Let's wait and see what happens up top.

Regardless, based on what exists so far, this is one tower where the quality makes one truly wish that it were double the actual height.
