Totally different builds. When you have to work around existing structures it takes 3 to 4 times as long until you get past the buildings that are being retained. Some that only have a small portion being retained like 8 Wellesley move a bit quicker. This one will move quickly by the end of August.
I agree that retaining the facade of an existing building would add to construction time. But wouldn’t that be mostly during the retention process and maybe below ground works? By last October they’d gone past that - the first above grade floor was complete. And this is quite a large site - it’s not as if they had limited room to maneuver.

Scrolling through the posts, it looks like the second floor was only completed in early May (it was still being formed in March), so maybe the pace is picking up. We’ll see …

can someone please tell me when does the construction work approximately begin each day? Was gonna rent a place near here and Im not sure if it is going to be very noisy
