Today.

What does this mean for the height of the building?
@DevDudeToronto's posted link says this:
The Reconfiguration Plan (as defined in the Second Report) approved by the Court pursuant to the Order (Reconfiguration and Letters of Credit Arrangement) on June 6, 2024, is advancing as planned and in accordance with applicable zoning requirements, site plans, and permits. Specifically, the Receiver and the Project’s consultants submitted an updated set of drawings reflecting the proposed changes contemplated by the Reconfiguration Plan to the City Planning Division, who has confirmed that the revisions are substantially in accordance with the approved site plan drawings. A revised building permit application is currently under review by the Toronto Building department and the Receiver anticipates that the revised building permit will be issued in the near term.

Looking like they are sticking to 86 storeys:

The term “Value Engineering” appeared multiple times. I know it makes sense for a receiver trying to cut cost as much as possible but ultimately wouldn’t value engineering lower the value of what you are trying to sell ?
I am presuming VE here is they not going beyond 86 floors. And will unlikely spare anymore extravagances outside to what the receivership has already agree to cover in finishing this tower...

...I guess the silver lining here is that we as observers will unlikely notice anything untoward outside the tower other than it being shorter. Can't say the same for those living and working in there.

But yeah, it feels all pretty anti-climatic at the end of the day. And Tridel seems more of a foster parent taking in an unwanted child than that of a confident owner here. /sigh

Edit: I think Northern Light-san said this better over on the next page.
