Wow, it's a good amount taller than the CN Tower's observation deck from this perspective! Helps understand how much higher Bloor is from sea level compared to Front.
If I remember correctly, some members believed that the planned exterior lighting was scrapped when this project went into receivership and Tridel took over. However, I cannot confirm this yet.Do we know what the final lighting strategy of the building is going to be? I remember a while ago people were looking for lights to illuminate the skeleton, but did anything get confirmed?
How many more floors do they still need to build?
People claiming Toronto is flat should try cycling from the waterfront to Bloor (you don't really feel/notice it when you're walking). And that's just downtown - wait till you get to the escarpment between Davenport and St Clair!Bloor is about 50 metres higher. And the CN tower observation deck is 345 m, so they are almost exactly the same height above sea level.
